Wendy is the director of Seeds to Forests Training and Coaching Services. She is a seasoned banking professional with 37 years of retail banking service. She recently retired from Nedbank where she was the Executive for Financial Wellness where she was responsible for the development and implementation of strategy for Financial Fitness and Consumer Financial Education Programs(CFE).
Her career accolades include being among the leaders who implemented the Consumer Financial Education program in the rural and urban areas when the Financial Sector Charter was promulgated as law. Together with industry peers, she participated in the crafting of the financial education content that would be used by financial institutions. It is during working in the rural areas that her love for community development grew, leading to her participating in many CSI initiatives conducted in the Eastern Cape, KZN, and Limpopo areas.
Post the education stint, she worked as a Learning and Development Manager and developed a learning curriculum for the sales force.
She extended the financial literacy knowledge to the staff at her workplace and developed content for usage. A speaker, mentor, coach, and facilitator who thrives on developing and coaching people.
Her international coaching diploma from Consciousness Coaching has enabled her to coach a range of leaders across the corporate landscape. Passionate about teaching and empowering with financial literacy knowledge. She believes mastering the basics of financial literacy is critical to building sustainable wealth.
